Course Content:

• Identify how the statements on the Teacher Assessment Framework for
  writing can be evidenced.
• Discussing what constitutes independence in writing
• Explore the difference between the three core standards
• Teachers to work in pairs to find evidence to support their judgements.
• Consultant support to identify gaps in evidence/pupil knowledge
• Aid with future planning leading to final assessment

Please bring a small selection of pupil books that demonstrates the range of writing in your class. This will enable you to ‘benchmark’ key pupil groups.

About Pippa McGeoch:
Pippa McGeoch has been working with Literacy Tree for 9 years. Prior to this, she managed a private 0-5 nursery, taught in several challenging schools, was a Deputy Head and a Local Authority Consultant. Pippa is an experienced Key Stage 1 and 2 moderator.
