Course Overview:
This course will give teachers who are new (or nearly new) to maths subject leadership the opportunity to explore the principles and key actions in the development of the role.
The aim of the day is to support subject leaders to build a picture of the effectiveness of maths provision in school, helping them to identify where further development is required. We will consider aspects such as: what the curriculum is like, how it is taught (subject knowledge and pedagogy) and the impact on learning.
