Course Overview:
This termly forum is designed to ensure that mathematics subject leaders and teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 are kept informed of the latest initiatives and understand best practice. Each session will include a training focus as well as an open forum for discussion.

- An update of key publications, research and guidance from the DfE and OFSTED.
- Discussions around the role of the subject leader in the management of Mathematics.
- Exploration into statutory assessment at the end of EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Innovative ideas to take back to school to support staff CPD.
- A chance to and share best practice in the teaching and leading of Mathematics
About Gemma Zufolo:
Gemma Zufolo is a Music subject leader and music graduate. She has 24 years of experience as a Music Subject Leader in various Bromley Primary Schools and has led NQT music forums. She earned an outstanding Ofsted result in a recent music deep dive and is able to share advice about how to successfully lead music, as well as offering practical ideas for planning, assessment, SEND provision, classroom music sessions and whole school ensembles. She is passionate about all children having access to music and has developed strategies to help overcome issues that some schools face, such as lack of resources and space, which she is very keen to share.
