This termly forum is designed to ensure that teachers across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 are kept informed of the latest initiatives and understand best practice. Each session will include a training focus as well as an open forum for discussion.

Course Content:
- An update of key publications, research and guidance from the DfE and OFSTED.
- Discussions around the role of the subject leader in the management of science.
- Exploration into statutory assessment at the end of EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Innovative ideas to take back to school to support staff CPD.
- A chance to network and share best practice in the teaching and leading of science.
About Tom Bishop:
Tom is the science lead at Warren Road Primary School and a highly experienced class teacher, having taught across all phases. He facilitates the science CPD courses offered through the WRTA, including forums, STEM Learning courses, and ITT training. Many of these courses are part of the CPD primary program for the London Science Learning Partnership, providing a wide range of courses for schools in the South East. Additionally, Tom collaborates with various schools, delivering targeted CPD and offering bespoke consultancy. Passionate about showcasing science excellence throughout the school day and curriculum, Tom is always keen to celebrate and share best practices in all CPD courses.
